There are many reasons to become a prepper. Climate changes are evident, unemployment is high, The super volcanoe is more active than ever, and terrorist acts are more pronounced. With some planning on your part it will not be hard to be prepare on a level you are comfortable with.

Have A Bug Out Bag Ready

A bug out bag is a portable backpack or duffle bag that contains the items one would require to survive for seventy-two hours when evacuating from a disaster.

What should my bug out bag contain.


1. A water source:

  • Water purifier
  • Bottled water

2. Non perishable foods

  • Canned Foods
  • Dehydrated Foods
  • Freeze Dried Foods


3. First aid kit

  • Antibiotics (just in case)
  • Sam Splint
  • Wound-closure strips
  • Burn ointment
  • Triple-antibiotic ointment
  • OTC pain-killers
  • OTC anti-inflammatory meds
  • Suture kit
  • Adhesive bandages


4. clothing

Enough for three days.


5. Shelter

Have a tent, tarp,Fly that can be made into an emergency shelter.


6. Important Documents

ID's, birth certificates, phone numbers and addresses.


7. Battery operated flashlight

Don't be in the dark

Your radio may be your only way to stay connected with the rest of the world. Remember that cell phone services may be down.
